How do I give drivers cold-chain or cooler-handling instructions for temperature-sensitive orders?

Add handling instructions as stop or customer notes, and use required Driver Tasks (e.g., "placed in cooler") so drivers confirm each step.

Does EasyRoutes support time windows for deliveries?

Yes. You can set delivery time windows per stop or import them from supported third‑party date/time apps. EasyRoutes optimizes routes to meet these windows and calculates ETAs accordingly.

How accurate are ETAs?

ETAs use route distance, stop service times, and historical traffic, and they update during the day as drivers progress. Accuracy improves when addresses and time windows are clean.

Is e-signature displayed to customers?

Tracking pages show that a signature was collected and when; for security purposes, the actual signature image isn’t displayed publicly but is retained internally for reference.

Can I require an order to be handed to a specific, named recipient?

There's no hard named-recipient lock, but a required Driver Task to log who received it, plus a required signature, enforces and documents it.

Can drivers confirm who received the delivery?

Yes. The e-signature captures the signer's name ("Signed for"), and a Driver Task or note can record the recipient — all stored with the stop.

Are proof-of-delivery captures geo-stamped / GPS-tagged?

Yes. With location capture enabled, each proof-of-delivery entry is recorded with the driver’s GPS location and a timestamp. See: Proof of Delivery

Can I require ID or signature confirmation for restricted items?

Yes. Make e-signature required to mark a stop delivered, and add a required Driver Task to confirm an ID check for restricted orders.

How does the free trial work?

Your 14-day free trial starts when you choose a paid plan for the first time. If you cancel anytime during your trial you won't be billed. If you continue, your subscription starts when your trial period ends.

How do I switch to EasyRoutes from another delivery app?

Switching is quick. On Shopify, install EasyRoutes and orders sync automatically — no data migration. For orders from other systems, import by CSV/spreadsheet (an AI assistant maps your columns), Zapier, or API, then set route options and add drivers. Most merchants are live the same day.
